Shun bad behaviour, nothing is hidden from me: Mulayam to SP minister
Clean Media Correspondent
Lucknow, Oct 12 (CMC) Against the backdrop of resignation of a UP minister in the CMO-abduction case, Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav today asked ministers to practice restraint and expected "good behaviour" from them.
"Those in the government should practice restraint... I expect good behaviour from them... Whenever fingers are raised on ministers it weakens SP government...", Yadav said addressing party workers on the 46th death anniversary of Dr Ram Manohar Lohia.
Without taking any names, he said, "ministers... you all should shun bad behaviour... nothing is hidden from me... If you ask me I can tell what is going on..."
"The ministers should show by their conduct that the SP government is different from the previous regime... people should feel the difference... it is necessary to strengthen Samajwad (socialism)", he added.
Advising party workers to work unitedly to form the next government at the Centre, Yadav said 2014 Lok Sabha polls were very important as neither BJP nor Congress were going to get the majority.
"If SP could win 50-60 Lok Sabha seats of the total 80, we can play a major role in formation of the next government", he said.
"The youths have played a major role in formation of SP government in the state... You (ministers) have got a lot... what these youths have got?" Yadav said praising youths in the party.
Earlier, Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav reiterated that his government would fulfil all promises made in the party manifesto and added that a lot had to be done in the fronts of infrastructure, development, health and education.
He also announced to change the name of Kanya Vidhyadhan scheme to Kasturba Kanya Vidyadhan scheme and added that now the licence fee for rickshaw pullers would be Re 1 annually.
