Patna, July 16 (CMC) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Monday said the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) was united on Jaswant Singh's candidature for the vice-president's post.
"The NDA is united for the vice presidential poll and the Janata Dal-United is with Jaswant Singh," Nitish Kumar told newspersons here.
The Bharatiya Janata Party-led NDA has named BJP leader Jaswant Singh as its vice- presidential candidate.
The JD(U) is, however, supporting UPA's Parnab Mukharjee for the post of Indian president.
