UPA govt non-performing: Nitish Kumar
Clean Media Correspondent
PATNA, July 09 (CMC) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today attacked the UPA government calling it 'non-performing' and alleged that its claim of integrated development was 'hollow.'
"I have been saying for long that the UPA government has been non-performing," he told reporters in reply to a question seeking his reaction on Time magazine describing Prime Minister Manmohan Singh as an 'underachiever'.
Kumar refrained from making comments on the Prime Minister and said besides being "non-performing" the UPA government has been "indecisive" on policy issues and it has been felt for long.
Kumar criticised the Centre also for "ignoring" Bihar's interests and said not only has the state's demand for special category status been rejected but it has also been denied coal linkage for Barauni Thermal power expansion project despite an all-party delegation submitting a memorandum to the Prime Minister requesting his intervention in the matter.
