Clean Media Correspondent
New Delhi, Dec 05 (CMC) The Samajwadi Party (SP) and Bahujan Samajwadi Party (BSP) walked out of the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) debate in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday evening.
The half way mark has fallen to 251 as the house strength has fallen to 500.
SP president Mulayam Singh Yadav speaking to reporters outside Parliament House blasted FDI in retail as a policy that is being implemented under foreign pressure and said it would not benefit the farmers in India.
The SP supremo defended his party for walking out of Parliament saying the government had insulted farmers and small shops.
But the walk out by his MPs will help the government to carry out the day in the Lok Sabha.
