Post-mortem report: Subhash Tomar suffered heart attack due to ante-mortem injuries

New Delhi, Dec 26 (CMC) The post-mortem report of Delhi police constable Subhash Tomar was released on Wednesday and sources claimed that the cardiac arrest was precipitated by injuries to his neck and chest.

Sources said that he suffered serious ante-mortem injuries and his three ribs were fractured on the left side. Effusion of blood was present in tissues and neck muscles.

Ante-mortem injuries are caused when the body suffers heavy blows from a blunt object.

Although the report has not been made public, the above information was given by sources, claimed various news channels.

The Delhi police in a press conference addressed by KC Dwivedi, Additional Commissioner of the Delhi Police said, "Constable Subhash Tomar suffered serious injuries. Autopsy reveals internal bleeding and broken ribs."

Dwivedi added, "Injuries suffered on chest and neck were due to blunt objects which led to Constable Subhash Tomar's death."
