Where there is a Will, there is a Way

The United Progressive Alliance Government at Center is led by the most honest but the weakest, economist Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh. The ultimate supremo of the Government seems to be someone else. His faithfulness forbids him to take any strong decision. He is a man who waits for the command from his boss. In fact a loyalist is expected to do so and by doing this, he is doing no wrong.

Mr. Prime Minister, you are the man who leads the largest democracy of the world. Your status gives you unlimited powers to do goods to the society. The people only expect you to use those powers judiciously.  Why do you need to wait for high command orders?

As a prime Minister you and your Ministers definitely understand the importance of Lokpal. Of course, all people’s representatives either at centre or state do understand the Lokpal’s crucial role in the real development of the country. But at the same time they do know that if ‘jan lokpal bill’ is passed, most of them will be the first one to be shown the doors of TIHAR. That is why, at any cost, they will not let the bill to be passed in the strongest form.

BUT it’s high time that Mr. Prime Minister takes the real lead. He should now become the strongest P.M of the nation. He should reflect his resolve and strong will to pass the Lokpal Bill.  We know that where there is a will, there is a way.  Here its otherwise ‘Way’ (Lokpak) is already there; only that strong ‘Will’ to pass the bill needs to be reflected.

Mr Prime Minister, by doing so, perhaps your government under your true leadership will be able to write a new chapter in the history of good governance and development of the nation. Henceforth a new chapter of growth will be read. This one bill alone could solve countless problems of the country and it might prove to be a giant step forward for good governance for which we have been raring since independence.

So, we urge you to pass the true LOKPAL BILL in this session of the Parliament itself, to become a part of our proud history.
