Digvijay sends Anna Hazare to Yamraj
Clean Media Correspondent
New Delhi, Dec 30 (CMC): Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh who has been very vocal in opposing Anna Hazare and his team took a fresh dig at him on Friday, a day after the Lokpal Bill got stalled in the Rajya Sabha.
Digvijay wrote on Twitter: “Yamraj to Yamdut: jao ANNA ko le aao. Yamdut: Maharaj apne yahan sab theek hai Unko lane se 'PARLOKPAL BILL' ka andolan chalu ho jayega...”
The former Madhya Pradesh CM also backed the UPA for ‘trying its best’ to pass the Lokpal Bill in the Parliament.
“UPA Govt did its best to pass the LPB but keep trying relentlessly to fight corruption not only through LP but as a comprehensive strategy. How could the Lokpal Bill have been passed? Now that Govt has time must try and bring about consensus and pass a strong Implementable LKB Amendments given till 6 pm on the day of debate and those too contradictory to each other,” he wrote.
“Extension of the House not within powers of RS hope Nation and Team Anna would realize how difficult it is to bring consensus on any issue in a hung Parliament mandate,” he added.
