Iran behind Dilhi car attack- Israel
clean media correspondent
New Delhi: Israel hit out at Iran accusing it to be behind the explosion in a car belonging to its embassy in Delhi on Monday saying that it was a terror attack. In a strong reaction Israel directly blamed Iran for the attacks in Delhi and Georgia.
Mincing no words Israeli Prime Minister said that “Iran and its proxy Hezbollah” were behind the attack. Benjamin Netanyahu added that that such incidents would not be tolerated and that Israel would get back at the perpetrators of the crime.
Israel’s assertion that it was a terror attack appears to be based on the fact that two more coordinated attacks were launched at its embassy’s in Georgia and Amsterdam today 'a day after the fourth anniversary of the assassination of Hezbollah military chief Imad Mughniyeh, who was killed in Damascus on February 12, 2008.
While condemning attack in Delhi today, External Affairs Minister SM Krishna said, “Have spoken to the Israeli foreign minister and have assured them that the law of the land will take its due course,” he said. “India very strongly condemns such incidents. The culprits will be brought to justice at the earliest. We will keep the embassy posted of the all developments,” he added.
