The Politics Of betrayal

We are ashamed when we notice that our own Government is deceiving us. It is the same Government whom we trusted completely and two and half years back, gave them another term to become our guardians.  We were confident of their concern for the poor and commitment for good governance and rule of law.

But look! It has collectively decided to deceive us. They have denigrated them to such an extent that they are now involved in the politics of betrayal. It is due to them that all the people’s representatives are now doubted. They have made it such a muddy land that once you enter this dirty game of politics, you can never dare to remain spotless, rather you won’t be allowed to do so.

The inclusion of reservation in Lokpal bill is simply belittling its importance. It is yet another way of misleading the people of the country. Instead of reservation, merit selection would have been a better idea.

The level and selection process should be same for all. This can only maintain the quality of the procedure.

When there are no reservations in other top sensitive agencies, then why is it planned in the Lokpal? Clearly, either government is not sensitive or it gives no value to it.

For the so called custodians of the constitution, it seems to be just a game of hide and seeks. After all befooling millions of Indians is not a joke.

It is surprising that the announcement of minority reservations has been made exactly before the upcoming elections in the five states. The Congress which has always claimed that it has never done the politics of caste and class has openly entered into the game of vote politics and treason. The country no doubt is moving through a galvanizing phase. It is destined to move through such phases until and unless we promise to elect the ‘right’ representatives.

  1. Indian politicians are mature enough to betray the people of the country.
