Abducted Collector Menon released from the captivity of Maoists
Clean Media Correspondent
New Delhi: May 3: (CMC)   Kidnapped by Maoists in Chhattisgarh Sucomma Alex Paul, DM was released on Thursday, 12 days after being taken by the Maoists.
Maoists had abducted him on April 21. Since then, the rebels were in possession of the DM. Nowhere, however, their release was reported. Till the last moments of their release there was uncertainty. Some TV channels reported quoting sources that Maoists released the collector Menon of Sucomma and left. In contrast, some other news channels were saying that their release could happen any minute.
According to sources to avoid possible administrative action Maoists deliberately maintained this confusion. Maoists handed over Alex Paul Menon to negotiators.
